Vietnam is a country in Southeast Asia located on the coast of the South China Sea. It is known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and vibrant cities. In the capital, Hanoi, there is a huge marble mausoleum of the famous leader of the country's Communist Party, Ho Chi Minh. Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, has many French colonial-style buildings and museums dedicated to the history of the Vietnam War.
