Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa. It is home to the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and the large freshwater Lake Victoria. The fauna of Uganda is rich and diverse; here you can meet chimpanzees, as well as rare species of birds. The famous Bwindi National Park, home to mountain gorillas, can only be reached on foot.
